Tondo Inclusive Urban Mobility and Accessible Infrastructure Initiative
Mandate immediate retrofitting of sidewalks, public walkways, and evacuation routes in Tondo with tactile paving, wheelchair ramps, and adequate lighting to ensure safe, barrier-free mobility for disabled residents during daily commutes and emergencies.
As Access First, representing the Disabled People TONDO constituency, physical accessibility remains our most critical daily barrier. Tondo's dense population and frequently compromised infrastructure put disabled residents at severe risk during transit and emergency evacuations. Prioritizing accessible pathways is a fundamental matter of safety, autonomy, and civil rights.
