Tondo Inclusive Urban Mobility and Accessible Infrastructure Initiative
Mandate immediate infrastructure audits and barrier-free upgrades across all major thoroughfares, public markets, and health centers in Tondo to guarantee safe, independent mobility for wheelchair users, visually impaired residents, and persons with mobility impairments.
As Access First, representing the Disabled People TONDO constituency, safe and accessible physical infrastructure is the absolute foundation of autonomy and community inclusion. Current walkways, lack of curb cuts, and poorly maintained pathways in Tondo severely restrict daily movement, employment access, and emergency evacuation for our members. This proposal directly addresses our most urgent daily barrier.
