Tondo Inclusive Urban Mobility and Accessible Infrastructure Initiative
Mandate immediate infrastructure upgrades across Tondo, Manila, including tactile paving, wheelchair-accessible ramps, lowered pedestrian crossings, and audio-assisted traffic signals. This initiative prioritizes safe, independent navigation for all disabled residents.
As Access First, representing Disabled People TONDO, accessible infrastructure is an urgent, life-safety necessity in our densely populated district. Uneven sidewalks, lack of ramps, and inaccessible crossings severely restrict our daily autonomy, employment access, and community participation. This proposal directly addresses the fundamental right to safe public movement.
