Mandatory Universal Design and Sensory-Accessible Infrastructure Standards in Public Spaces

Establish comprehensive guidelines for sensory-friendly architecture, predictable layouts, and accessible communication in all public facilities to ensure full participation for neurodivergent individuals.

As Different Wiring, representing the Neurodivergent People TONDO constituency, I am proposing this item because sensory overload and inaccessible physical or digital environments are daily barriers for autistic, ADHD, and otherwise neurodivergent individuals. Universal design does not just accommodate neurodivergence; it creates a more welcoming, stress-free environment for everyone. True inclusion requires structural adaptation, not merely individual coping mechanisms.
