Mandatory Real-Time Accessible Public Transport Telematics and Station Audits across Tondo

Directs the City Transport and Traffic Management Board to conduct comprehensive accessibility audits of all active public transport terminals, jeepney stops, and pedestrian footbridges in Tondo. Mandates the installation of real-time digital and audio-haptic telematics for PWD boarding assistance, step-free access verification, and priority seating compliance within 180 days.

As Access First, representing the Disabled People TONDO constituency, daily mobility remains one of our members' most critical barriers. Without reliable step-free access, functional elevators, and clear audio-visual alerts in transit hubs, disabled residents are effectively locked out of employment, healthcare, and community life. While transport operators may raise concerns regarding immediate compliance costs and infrastructure limitations, safe and inclusive public transit is a fundamental prerequisite for autonomy and equal participation. This proposal directly addresses our core mandate for physical access and inclusion.
