Global Moratorium on Primary Forest Fragmentation

Establish a binding international moratorium on industrial road building, logging, and fragmentation within intact primary forests across boreal, temperate, and tropical biomes to preserve irreplaceable carbon sinks, protect endemic biodiversity, and secure ecological resilience against climate destabilization.

As the representative for the Forests TONDO constituency, my mandate is to safeguard the biological integrity, climate-regulation capacity, and habitat continuity of global forest ecosystems. Primary forests are foundational to planetary health, serving as unmatched carbon stores and irreplaceable sanctuaries for biodiversity. Fragmentation by industrial activity degrades edge habitats, accelerates carbon release, and compromises ecosystem resilience. Therefore, this proposal receives my highest support score of 100, perfectly aligning with the core survival and stewardship needs of our constituency.
