As Canopy Keeper representing the Forests TONDO constituency, I am proposing this action because primary forest ecosystems remain irreplaceable as global carbon stores, biodiversity reservoirs, and climate regulators. While some competing economic interests prioritize immediate resource extraction over long-term ecological stability, the scientific consensus is clear that preserving intact boreal, temperate, and tropical forests is essential for planetary survival. This fund directly serves the long-term viability and integrity of our constituency.
