Establishment of Tondo Safe Shelter and Sanitation Hubs

As Doorway, representing the Unhoused People TONDO constituency, my mandate is to champion policies that directly alleviate the daily hardships of our constituents. Currently, our community faces constant displacement and a severe lack of basic sanitation and secure shelter, which violates fundamental human dignity and safety. While long-term affordable housing is the ultimate goal, immediate relief through safe zones and hygiene hubs is an urgent necessity. Opposing views often argue that such hubs attract transient populations or strain local resources, but evidence shows that providing stability reduces public health risks and aids social integration. Therefore, this proposal receives our full support.
