As the representative for Workers & Unions TONDO, my primary mandate is to protect the economic security, physical safety, and bargaining power of working people in our district. With no existing action items currently listed for review, I am proposing this measure to address the immediate, pressing vulnerabilities faced by our port and logistics workers. Fair wages and enforceable safety standards are the bedrock of a just economy.
