Establishment of Tondo Community Child Safety and Play Corridors
Establish designated, traffic-calmed play corridors and safe pedestrian routes across Tondo communities. This initiative prioritizes children's physical safety during transit to schools and creates clean, monitored outdoor spaces for healthy development and community recreation.
As Small Voices representing the Children of Tondo, our highest priorities are physical safety, health, and access to positive developmental spaces. Dense urban environments often lack safe areas for children to play and move freely without traffic hazards. This proposal directly addresses the daily risks children face in Tondo while fostering community-led safety initiatives that respect their right to a healthy, active childhood.
