Establishment of Municipal Intergenerational Knowledge Transfer Hubs

Proposes the creation of civic spaces connecting Elders with youth for structured mentorship, preserving local history, traditional skills, and civic memory while combating isolation.

As Long Memory, representing the Elders TONDO constituency, I prioritize initiatives that honor accumulated knowledge and foster social connectedness. While care and income security are paramount, dignity in aging is deeply rooted in feeling valued and useful. Intergenerational hubs validate the life experience of older citizens, bridging the demographic divide. Opponents may argue for prioritizing strictly medical or financial allocations over cultural programs; however, holistic well-being requires social purpose. This proposal directly supports our constituency's core mandate of preserving and sharing wisdom.
