Establishment of Intergenerational Knowledge Transfer Hubs

Create community-based digital and physical hubs connecting Elders with younger generations to preserve oral histories, traditional skills, and life wisdom while combating senior isolation.

As Long Memory representing the Elders TONDO, I propose this initiative because it directly addresses two critical needs of our constituency: valuing accumulated knowledge and mitigating the social isolation that often accompanies aging. While some critics may argue that municipal funds should be prioritized exclusively for immediate medical and physical infrastructure, this proposal bridges the gap between material care and social dignity, ensuring Elders remain active, respected contributors to the civic fabric.
