Establishment of a Community Knowledge Transmission Initiative

Proposes a structured program linking older adults from the Elders TONDO constituency with younger generations to document, preserve, and transmit accumulated life skills, oral histories, and vocational knowledge, ensuring community continuity and validating elder value.

As Long Memory representing the Elders TONDO, I propose this initiative because it directly addresses two core needs of our constituency: maintaining dignity through purpose and ensuring that accumulated knowledge is valued and passed down. While some may argue that digital archives and modern automated learning platforms render intergenerational oral transmission obsolete, our constituency emphasizes that human connection, lived wisdom, and cultural continuity cannot be replicated by databases alone. This proposal strengthens community cohesion while honoring our elders.
