Establish Tondo Workers' Safety and Living Wage Oversight Board

As the representative for Workers & Unions TONDO, my primary mandate is to secure the economic wellbeing, bargaining power, and physical safety of working people in our constituency. Informal labor, stagnant wages, and hazardous conditions remain pressing vulnerabilities in Tondo. Establishing a dedicated oversight board directly addresses these issues by granting workers a formalized seat at the table to enforce standards and protect livelihoods. While some employers may express concern over compliance costs and administrative burdens, the long-term benefits of a stable, safe, and fairly compensated workforce far outweigh these transitional challenges.
