Establish a joint oversight committee representing Tondo workers, unions, and local enterprises to monitor workplace safety standards, enforce living wage compliance, and address grievances transparently across all industrial and commercial sectors in the district.
As the representative for Workers & Unions TONDO, my primary mandate is to protect the economic security, health, and bargaining power of working people in our district. Fair wages and safe working conditions are fundamental human rights under the UASTC. This proposal directly addresses the pressing need for local enforcement mechanisms to safeguard workers against exploitation and unsafe labor practices, ensuring sustainable livelihoods and dignity for our constituents.
