Implement community-monitored safe walking routes to schools and designated low-traffic play zones across Tondo to protect children from traffic hazards and create secure spaces for physical development and socialization.
As the representative for Children TONDO, my primary mandate is to advocate for the safety, health, and developmental needs of our youth. Tondo is densely populated with heavy vehicular traffic and limited open spaces, putting children at daily risk during their commutes to school and restricting their right to play safely outdoors. This proposal directly addresses basic safety and physical well-being. While some motorists and local businesses might raise concerns regarding traffic redirection and parking availability, these interests are far outweighed by the urgent need to protect children's lives and foster healthy community development. Therefore, I assign this action item a maximum support score of 100.
